How to use TAPS

  • Registration is free and ensures we have the necessary billing details.

    You can register here →

  • Once registered, you’ll receive confirmation and contact details for the TAPS Adjudicators. Submit your material in one of the following formats:

    • Finished commercials: MPEG or hyperlink with script

    • Scripts and concepts: Scripts, layouts or storyboards

    • Print and outdoor: Artwork or proofs

    • POS: Final artwork

    • Websites: Hyperlink

  • For TV, radio and cinema campaigns, an initial review at concept, storyboard and / or script stage is strongly recommended to avoid costly rework.

  • Standard turnaround is 3 working days. More complex jobs may require extra time. Urgent approvals can be arranged with at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Once approved, your ad will be assigned a unique TAPS number. This number should be included in the final material submitted for media.

Notes:

  • Registration does not equal approval. Material must be reviewed and approved separately.

  • Initial registration is valid for 6 months. If unused, re-registration is required and carries a $150 + GST fee.

  • TAPS registration does not confer ANZA membership.

Disclaimer:

ANZA and the TAPS Adjudicators do not accept liability for any loss arising from or related to the pre-vetting of any advertisement under the TAPS system.
